Throughout my life, my career has taken different paths.   I’ve been a professional photographer and a holistic therapist, to name a few - yet the underlying link has always been a powerful urge to encourage and support people. 

 

Whether through artistic expression, healing work, or active listening, I've always felt a pull toward the human spirit and the ways we provide comfort, connection, and empathy to one another. 

 

My vocation as a celebrant officially began after a very personal loss. When my husband was diagnosed with illness, I stepped into the role of his primary caregiver, supporting him through his final days. After he died, I had the honour of leading his service - the very first ceremony I conducted.

 

It was a profound emotional challenge, yet it became the proudest day of my life.  In that space, I found my true purpose. 

 

Acting as a funeral celebrant is more than a career - it's a calling and a privilege.

 

While some might find it strange to love such a role, I genuinely do.  Assisting families through their mourning while creating tributes that are authentic and dignified is a responsibility I value immensely. 

 

A funeral is a final gift we can give to those we love. It's a vital time to pause, remember, and say goodbye with clear intent. 

 

Having walked through grief myself on several occasions, I bring more than just skill; I bring real empathy to every family I meet. I understand how vital it is to feel protected and heard during these most fragile times.

I’ll walk alongside you with care, clarity, and kindness—and if there’s room for a little lightness or humour, I’ll offer that too, always with sensitivity and respect.
